Everyone who attended the CES 2015 was prepared to get a glimpse of what is in store for Samsung this year as the tech company is set to unveil a variety of products, including their much anticipated Galaxy S6. Unfortunately, the new might not be as exciting as the rest of the world think.

According to SamMobile’s sources, Samsung is bringing to CES not only the "regular" Galaxy S6 model, but also a special version of the handset. Unsurprisingly though, there’s a huge catch: these demo units are not for everyone to see.

The South Korean giant will only show the prototypes to its partners, likely mobile operators attending the tech event, and that will happen behind closed doors.

In previous years, Samsung was similarly rumored to bring upcoming Galaxy S versions to CES, though the company never used the Las Vegas-based event to launch the previous models. It’s likely that will also happen this year, with Samsung expected to hold a special press conference for the handset at some point later this year.

As for the versions Samsung will reportedly demo to partners, no details are available at this time. The company is rumored to launch a special Galaxy S6 version this year that may feature one, if not two, edge displays similar to the Galaxy Note Edge.

For what it is worth, the Galaxy S6 has been detailed in a variety of reports so far, which revealed its alleged specs and features, purported pictures, metal frame design images, including recent pictures that supposedly show a final version of the rear shell.
