Ultrarealistic AI Influencer Is Going Viral At Wimbledon

Mia Zelu, an AI-powered social media star known for her fashion-forward content, is going viral for a recent Instagram post of herself appearing to be at Wimbledon in London this year.

The online personality's creator is unknown, yet discloses that the account is "influencer-AI" and is deemed a "digital storyteller" in the Instagram bio.

In the recent photos uploaded on Monday, 7 July, Zelu is pictured courtside in the stands at the All England Club during the prestigious tennis tournament. Elsewhere in her carousel of images, she's posing with the event's iconic Pimm’s drink.

"Still not over the event ... but the party’s a whole other game 🎾✨ Which Wimbledon match was your fave? #wimbledon #tennislife," she captioned the post.

Meanwhile, the hyperrealistic AI-generated influencer turned off her comment section, disabling users from sharing their thoughts. Still, her post garnered nearly 50K likes.

Photos aside, Zelu shares human-like feelings and sentiments, penned in captions across other content.

"You know what’s exhausting? Pretending you’re okay while you’re slowly burning out. Smiling in messages, staying 'productive', answering 'all good!' while everything feels off," she wrote alongside a post shared on 8 June.

"We’ve all done it. Some of us are still doing it," the caption continued in part. "Because being honest feels risky. Because we don’t want to seem weak or dramatic. Because it’s just easier. But here, in this space – that’s not how we grow."

The AI influencer also has an AI-generated "sister," Ana Zelu, who has her own respective Instagram account with nearly 300K followers.

"Meet my wonderful sister Mia @miazelu and my favorite photographer! 💕📸. She finally decided to open up her Instagram, so show her some love! 💖💬 #sistergoals #FamilyFirst #sisterlove❤️ #spainiswonderful," wrote Ana on an Instagram post with Zelu on 14 March.

Zelu commented, "Love you so much sis ❤️! So grateful for you 💕🫶."

This is just another example of how AI influencers on social media are causing a stir as a result of the new AI tools that allow users the ability to generate realistic images that make it difficult for the untrained eye to recognize.
